options to customize your look. Our lashes offer 2 degrees of curl, 3 different thicknesses, and 7 different lengths. They are virtually weightless.
If the technician is not properly trained and qualified, Eyelash Extensions could possibly damage your lashes–leaving you with ugly “bald spots.” The Eyelash Extension process is meticulous; your results depend first on the skill of your technician and, secondarily, the product used. There are people who call themselves Eyelash Extension specialists, but who have not actually obtained training, much less are they certified. Even if they are certified, very few “extensionists” do eyelashes more than once a month. This procedure is new to the United States and not yet regulated, which makes it easy for unscrupulous opportunists to call themselves Eyelash Extension specialists.
Don’t be fooled! Do your research. Ask for before/after photos of actual clients of their own. Ask to see their certification. Ask to see their cosmetologist or esthetician license. Many salons use manufacturer “stock” photos…so the photos aren’t representative of what the salon’s skill level is. In fact, at our competitors, photos with lash extensions frequently have no link whatsoever to the abilities of that individual lash tech.
Even if they are certified, frequently they offer a wide array of other beauty services, the demands of which never allow them to truly specialize and become an expert in Eyelash Extensions. Always ask your technician to show you their certification and which product (and safety certifications) they use.
1. Remove all eye makeup and clean your lashes with mild, oil free cleanser or a GOT LASHES? lash artist will do it for you.
2. Please don’t use oil based makeup removers to clean your lashes prior to the application.
3. Please don’t put on any mascara the day of your appointment; we’d rather spend your time working on perfecting your lashes.
4. Please remove contact lenses and wear glasses to your appointment, or bring a lens case and remove them when you arrive at your appointment.
5. Plan to set aside 2 to 3 hours for your full set appointment & 1 hour for your fill appointment. Many of our clients fall asleep during the procedure. They are always amazed when they wake up with gorgeous looking lashes.
It is not necessary to use an eyelash curler, your GOT LASHES? Eyelash Extensions will curl your lashes; do not use a regular Eyelash curler, it may break both the lash extension and your natural lashes.
Do not rub your eyes or lashes when washing your face, gently clean around the Eyes with a wash cloth or fingers.
Do not pull on your lash extensions, it may take out your own natural lash as well.
Eyelash Extensions are not for everyone: they are a maintenance beauty treatment—if you want results lasting longer than 30 days.
